Bunny rolls with quark and oil dough

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 125 g quark, low-fat
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Currants
  • Almond(s), peeled and halved
  • 1 egg(s), including the yolk
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the dough ingredients together into a firm dough. Form small balls, setting aside some dough. Place two balls at a time on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape the remaining dough into small bunny ears and attach them to the head. Press almond halves onto the dough. Add currants for the eyes. Mix the egg yolk with milk and brush the bunnies. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes.
