  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Supplement

Trim and wash the savoy cabbage. Set aside 8 large leaves. Cut the rest into thin strips. Place the leaves in boiling water for 1 minute, then rinse with cold water and cut out the tough stalk. Fry the diced bacon, add the savoy cabbage strips, fry briefly and deglaze with cream. Braise for 5 minutes, seasoning with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Lay out the leaves, spread the filling on top. Fold in the sides and roll up. Place in a pan with a little vegetable stock, cover and simmer until the leaves are soft. If you prefer them crispier, brush with butter and bake briefly in the oven.
