Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g quark (cottage cheese)
- 3 tbsp semolina
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 pinch of salt
- Plum(s) (damsons) or apricots (marigolds)
- 200 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp sugar
- butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 30 minutes
Quark dumplings
Mix the first six ingredients thoroughly and let rest for half an hour. Then form dumplings and fill each with a pitted plum or apricot. Let them simmer for 15 minutes in lightly salted boiling water. Roll the cooked dumplings in the breadcrumbs that have been toasted in butter and mixed with the sugar.
