Roasted chestnuts

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g chestnuts
  • n. B. water
  • some butter
  • some chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Place the chestnuts in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Boil for about 5 minutes and drain. Score the chestnuts crosswise and peel. Heat the butter in a pan. Add the chestnuts and fry until golden brown. Season with chili. A delicious snack on cold winter evenings.
