Snow with syrup

You’ll need either a winter with snow or shaved ice. Take as much of the snow or ice as you can or want to eat. A “larger” portion is roughly the size of a handball. Now shape the snow into a nice, tightly packed snowball (important!). Now you either put it in a bowl or hold it in your hand (a glove is advantageous here). And now the highlight: Choose your favorite – chilled – syrup and pour it generously over the snowball! Room-temperature syrup works too, but it will ruin the snowball somewhat. If you like, you can also use two types of syrup. Tastes delicious – but I had to freeze half of it because, while a handball-sized syrup is fine in summer, it’s simply too much in winter. At 30°C in the shade, the whole thing tastes even better. The calories depend on the syrup. I use sugar-free syrup, which makes the whole thing a “worthless” snack. I would only recommend ice cream made from snow here in our village and not in a big city; here, the version with shaved ice is recommended.
