Mother's style potato salad with meat salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 medium-sized potatoes, waxy (6-8)
  • 200 g meat – salad
  • ½ kl. jar salad cream (Miracel Whip)
  • 4 eggs, hard boiled
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s), (1-2)
  • 2 tbsp mustard , (2-3)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar , (1-2)
  • 1 tbsp mineral water (1-2)
  • salt and pepper
  • Parsley
  • possibly garlic granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Chop everything into small pieces and mix. Don’t chop the onions too finely, and don’t chop the eggs too small either. The garlic granules are almost a temptation, but try it yourself. In a small (!) amount, they intensify the flavor. Don’t use fresh ones, they’ll be too strong. Granules dissolve better. Don’t be too sparing with the pepper, mustard, and vinegar. The salad should have a (slight) yellow color. Stir in some parsley and garnish with the rest. Let it sit for at least 12 hours. Yes, it’s high in calories. For people who don’t need to watch their calories. Restaurant-tested and rated ‘very good’ by chefs.
