Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 cup polenta semolina
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 pinch(s) salt
- 1 tsp crackling lard
- some parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Bring the water to a boil. Stir in the butter and salt. Immediately stir in the polenta, followed by the lard. Let the polenta set and stir in the chopped parsley. Scoop out the dumplings with a tablespoon and add them to a soup of your choice.
