Penne – Tomato – Mozzarella à la Ed

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400g penne
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 300 g tomatoes (cocktail tomatoes), halved
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 ball of mozzarella, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Mixed herbs, Italian style

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

First, boil the water and boil the penne. Then drain it through a sieve. In a pan with a little oil, fry the bacon, the finely diced onion, and the finely chopped garlic clove. Then reduce the heat and lightly fry the halved tomatoes in the pan. Now add the finely chopped mozzarella and wait until it has melted. Pour in the cream and season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Finally, fold in the penne. Serve immediately.
