Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 250 g smoked salmon
  • Pickled ginger (for sushi)
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • Wasabi paste
  • Sesame, roasted

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix the wasabi paste with the mayonnaise, seasoning to taste. Peel the cucumbers if desired and slice them lengthwise into thin strips using a mandoline. Top each cucumber slice with pickled ginger and smoked salmon. Roll up the cucumber slices and secure with a toothpick. Once prepared, the appetizer can rest for a few hours if guests arrive later; the remaining steps should be completed immediately before serving. Pipe wasabi mayonnaise into the center of the florets. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the mayonnaise. This recipe yields approximately 16 florets.
