Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 75 g butter, soft
- 1 tbsp horseradish, freshly grated
- Salt
- 12 slices of white bread
- 12 leaves lettuce, small
- 200 g smoked salmon
- Lemon balm or cress
- Horseradish, coarsely grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy, season with horseradish and salt, and chill for about 1 hour. Then spread the butter on the bread and place a lettuce leaf on each slice. Arrange the salmon on the bread and garnish. This recipe is perfect for cold platters.
