Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 white bread stick(s)
- 1 mozzarella
- 1 m.-sized onion(s), (depending on how you like it)
- 5 tbsp salad dressing (from the bottle
- 1 tomato(s)
- 250 g cheese, for gratinating
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the baguette into nice, long slices, about the thickness of your thumb. Cut the mozzarella into really small cubes (freeze for about half an hour to make it easier), peel the onion and also cut into small cubes. Mix the mozzarella, onion, and 5 tablespoons of salad dressing together in a small bowl. Dice the tomatoes. Spread the baguette slices with the spread, arrange the tomato pieces on top, sprinkle with a little salt, and sprinkle with the cheese. Spread the whole thing on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 220°C for about 10-15 minutes. Tastes delicious hot or cold, it’s quick and easy to make, and is great as finger food for a party.
