Jam corners made from curd butter dough

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g quark
  • 250 g flour, smooth
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 jar jam to taste
  • 2 egg yolks
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Knead together the butter, quark, flour, and a pinch of salt. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. Then roll out and cut into squares. Fill each square with a spoonful of jam and fold it diagonally into a triangle, pressing the edges firmly together. Brush the parcels with egg yolk and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes, until the surface is lightly browned. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy warm or cold. You can also use this dough to make apple strudel or fill the parcels with apple strudel filling.
