Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of dough (strudel dough), ready-made product
- 80 g butter
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 1 kg apples
- 100 g sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 100 g raisins
- 50 g almond(s), sticks
- 1 tbsp brandy
- powdered sugar
- 1 pack of ice cream, vanilla
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Roll out the finished strudel dough. Toast the breadcrumbs in butter until golden brown. Toast the almonds in the oven without fat until golden brown. Peel and core the apples, then grate them. Spread the mixture of breadcrumbs, apples, almonds, brandy, cinnamon sugar, and raisins evenly onto the rolled-out strudel dough. Unroll the strudel and brush with a little melted butter. Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper for 35-45 minutes (180°C). Brush with butter frequently during the first half of baking. Let cool slightly and dust generously with powdered sugar. Lukewarm apple strudel tastes delicious with vanilla ice cream.
