Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g milk chocolate coating
  • 150 g spiced speculatius
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 50 g butter
  • 25 g brown sugar
  • 150 g condensed milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp clove powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

to give as a gift at Christmas

Gather 3-4 clean jars and screw-top lids. Slowly melt the chocolate coating in a large bowl over a pan of simmering water. Meanwhile, grind the speculatius biscuits and walnuts. Add the butter, sugar, condensed milk, and spices to the chocolate and stir until melted. Add the ground speculatius biscuits and nuts and mix well. While still warm, pour into the jars and close the lids. Keep refrigerated for about 6 weeks.
