White sausage goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 white sausages
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 1 shot of peach juice from the can
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp, heaped mustard, sweet
  • 3 tsp, heaped peppercorns, green, pickled
  • optional spice(s) as desired or seasoning of the white sausages
  • 8 dumplings, half and half, from the package

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with peach and pepper sauce

Peel the skins off the white sausages. Cut the sausages into 2 cm thick slices. Brown them in a pan with a little oil. Pour in the cream. Cut the peaches into pieces and add a dash of peach juice, if desired. Add the peppercorns and mustard and mix. Season to taste with additional spices, depending on the type of white sausage. Be careful with already well-seasoned white sausages. Simmer for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the dumplings according to the package instructions.
