Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g potatoes, peeled and washed
  • 300 g pasta (all short pasta, e.g. spirelli, penne)
  • 1 onion(s), peeled and finely diced
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Fondor
  • chili flakes
  • oil
  • 1 handful of breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Fried potatoes – fried noodles

Slice the potatoes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato slices over medium heat until crispy and brown on all sides. Season the fried potatoes generously with pepper and Fondor, remove from the pan, and set aside. In the meantime, cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain in a colander. Heat more oil in the pan and sauté the onions until light brown. Then add the pasta and fry, seasoning occasionally. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and fry for a while longer. Add the potatoes and then the beaten egg, and mix well. This goes well with sausages, but is also a hit on its own!
