Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 200 g ham (Serrano)
  • 15 g Parmesan
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Puff pastry rolled with Serrano ham, makes about 25 pieces

Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator and let it warm up in a warm room for a while. In the meantime, cut the Serrano ham into small strips and separate the egg from the egg white. Unroll the puff pastry on a baking mat. Spread the Serrano ham on a sheet of puff pastry and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Brush the second sheet with the beaten egg yolk, place this sheet, yolk-side down, on the Serrano ham, and cut it in half lengthwise. Using a sharp knife, cut 1 1/2 cm strips and carefully rotate them. Place them on the baking sheet until the baking tray is full (you will need two trays). Brush the remaining egg yolk with water over the strips. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 to 12 minutes.
