Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry (refrigerated section)
- Leberkäse (raw meat, alternatively bratwurst meat)
- 1 red bell pepper(s), diced
- 1 onion(s), finely diced
- 1 egg yolk, whisked
- 100 g cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Roll out the puff pastry and spread the raw meatloaf mixture on it (alternatively, use the sausage meat). Briefly fry the finely diced bell pepper and onion in a little butter in a pan and spread it on the puff pastry. Roll up and place seam-down on a baking sheet. Brush the puff pastry rolls with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven according to the instructions on the puff pastry packaging. Slice and serve. It’s an absolute party hit and tastes great even cold.
