Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g tomatoes, preferably small
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • 1 pinch(s) black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pinch of salt, preferably sea salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

fruity, light vegetable side dish

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Halve the tomatoes and place them cut-side up in a baking dish or ramekins. Sprinkle the balsamic vinegar, oregano, pepper, and salt evenly over them. Roast in the oven for about 15 minutes, until the tomatoes begin to soften. You can also drizzle with a little olive oil. The tomatoes can be served hot or lukewarm.
