stirred in the bread maker
Place all ingredients in the bread maker in the specified order and set the program to mix. After mixing, remove the dough from the bread maker, place it in a bowl, and let it rest, covered, for 60 minutes. Divide the dough into three pieces. Dust the work surface and a baking pan with flour or use baking paper. Place the three pieces in the baking pan and use scissors to cut small, diagonal or straight slits into the tops of the shaped dough pieces. Cover the three baguette pieces and let them rest for another 40 minutes. After 30 minutes, preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat) or fan-assisted for 10 minutes. Place a container of water in the oven. Brush the baguettes lightly with a brush and sprinkle with flour. Place in the oven for 15 minutes. If desired, bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes for a firmer crust. The baked baguettes are now ready to enjoy.
