Puff pastry with vegetable, cheese and cream filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry
  • 1 large bell pepper(s)
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 ml
  • 1 pack Emmental cheese, grated
  • 250 g bacon cubes
  • 2 tsp chili
  • some parsley
  • 2 egg yolks

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and trim the bell pepper and zucchini, and cut them into small cubes. Place both in a bowl. Add the bacon, parsley, chili, and cheese to the bowl. Add the cream and mix well. Spread the prepared filling on the puff pastry and roll it up. Brush the puff pastry roll with egg yolk. Tip: If desired, you can also sprinkle the rolls with sesame seeds or black cumin seeds. Bake at 180°C (fan oven) for 20 minutes.
