Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp, heaped sugar
  • 2 tbsp, heaped flour, e.g. spelt, wholemeal, etc.
  • 2 tbsp milk, e.g. 1.5% fat
  • ½ apples
  • 1 tsp, heaped cinnamon
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 minute; Total time approx. 6 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon in a small cup. Add the milk and mix until a slightly runny, smooth batter forms. Wash the apple, remove the cores, and cut into small cubes. Add these and stir in. Place the cup in the microwave and bake for 1.5 minutes at 1000 watts. Tip: Feel free to swap out some of the ingredients. You can also use applesauce instead of milk. However, please do not replace the sugar, or it will not bake successfully. Optionally, you can let the batter stand for 10-15 minutes. This will make it even fluffier.
