Nutella bomb

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 g dry yeast
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 700 g flour, more if necessary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Rapeseed oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp hazelnut brittle
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp Nutella

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 400 ml of lukewarm water and let it rise in a warm place for 20 minutes. Knead in the cinnamon, flour, salt, and vanilla extract and let it rise for another 30 minutes. The dough should be risen and slightly sticky. If it’s too sticky, knead in a little more flour. Heat the rapeseed oil in a saucepan to 160-170°C. Form the yeast dough into small balls, one at a time, and place them in the hot oil. Fry for 3-6 minutes until golden brown. Score the fried balls with a knife and fill them with Nutella from a piping bag. Spoon the honey over the balls in a thin stream. Top with the hazelnut brittle.
