Doughnuts with quark

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 375 g flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • ½ bag of raisins
  • lemon peel
  • powdered sugar
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or saucepan. Check the temperature with a wooden spoon; if bubbles appear, it’s ready. Using two teaspoons, drop the batter into the heated oil and fry the doughnuts until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
