Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g plum(s)
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 liter of brandy (cognac)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 30 minutes

Preparation: Layer the plums with the spices and sugar in a stoneware pot or preserving jar. Pour brandy over the plums. Seal the container (if necessary with aluminum foil). Let stand for 4 to 6 weeks. It also tastes delicious over ice. Serve like rum pot. Tip: Also works well with mirabelle plums, apricots, or mixed fruits.
