Pork fillet croutons

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 pork fillets, 400 g each (frozen)
  • 2 tsp spice mix (chili – paprika – garlic)
  • 4 tbsp oil (peanut oil)
  • 2 lemon(s), the juice
  • 500 g French fries (frozen)
  • 125 g peanuts (coated with paprika salt dough)
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Slowly defrost the pork fillets and pat dry. First, slice, then cut into not-too-thin strips. Marinate the meat in a mixture of peanut oil, lemon juice, and the chili-paprika-garlic seasoning. Place the mixture in a large, hot pan and cover with a little water if needed, then simmer for about 10 minutes. Drain the water and pat the meat dry. Heat a little peanut oil in the pan and sear the meat until golden brown. Arrange the fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake according to the package instructions until golden brown. Finely chop the peanuts and sprinkle over the fries. Arrange on plates and serve hot.
