Boiled potatoes with mushroom and bacon sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 small potatoes
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 250 g bacon cubes
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tbsp sauce powder (gravy powder)
  • n. B. Flour
  • Fat
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water for about 20-25 minutes. Slice the mushrooms. Heat a pan with fat over high heat. Gradually add a handful of mushrooms and fry until golden brown. Add the bacon to the mushrooms and fry. Once the bacon is well browned, add about 250 ml of water to the pan and stir in the gravy. When there is no more powder left, thicken with flour until the mixture is thick. Let it simmer and season to taste.
