Gnocchi with mushroom and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • ½ zucchini, halved
  • 100 g bacon cubes
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 tbsp sauce (salsa sauce)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • Parsley
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, wash the mushrooms and then quarter or eighth them, as desired. Wash the zucchini and dice them. Then fry the mushrooms, zucchini, and bacon bits together in a little oil. When everything starts to turn slightly brown, add the chopped tomatoes and sour cream, and bring the sauce to a boil briefly. Depending on the desired consistency, you can add more water. Season with salsa sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder, parsley, and basil as desired. Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the package instructions. Finally, simply add the gnocchi to the pan and serve.
