Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • some water
  • some salt and pepper
  • possibly garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • ¼ celeriac
  • 2 cod fillets

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Add enough water to the pan to cover the bottom. Chop the vegetables and add them to the pan. Season with salt, pepper, and, if desired, garlic. When the water tastes strong, add the fish and simmer for about 15 minutes with the lid almost closed (I placed a wooden spoon between the lid and the pan). The fish doesn’t need to be turned. Serve the vegetables with the fish. Serve with Mediterranean rice.
