Spaghetti with tuna sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 100 g peas
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 2 onions, red
  • 2 cans of tomatoes, chopped
  • some butter
  • some olive oil
  • some oregano
  • some salt
  • some pepper, mixed, freshly ground
  • some cheese, grated

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

simple, quick and delicious

Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Peel the onions, halve them, and cut them into strips. Drain the tuna. Heat a little butter and olive oil in a high-fat pan. Sauté the onions over low to medium heat until translucent. Add the tuna, breaking it up a little with a fork. Add the peas and chopped tomatoes and simmer over low to medium heat until the peas are tender (they should still have a bit of a bite). Season to taste with salt, pepper, and oregano. Drain the spaghetti and serve with the sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese, if desired.
