Rosemary salt

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • 100 g salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Place the rosemary sprigs in the oven and dry at 50°C (top/bottom heat). Wedge a wooden spoon between the sprigs to allow any moist air to escape. Test them occasionally. If the sprigs break in your hands, they’re dry. Pluck the needles from the sprigs and grind them in a mortar and pestle. Add salt to taste. Note: I had to specify a specific amount here, so I simply entered a certain amount. Basically, you use rosemary and salt according to your taste.
