Elderberry balsamic á la Traudl

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 ml elderberry juice
  • 600 ml balsamic vinegar, dark
  • 100 g coconut blossom sugar
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp gelling sugar
  • 4 allspice berries
  • 4 carnations
  • 1 small cinnamon stick(s)
  • ½ star anise
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat the elderberry juice and balsamic vinegar, add all the sugars and dissolve. Now add the spices in a spice bag and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the spice bag and bottle the vinegar.
