Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 pork neck steaks
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 750 g broccoli
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 200 ml hollandaise sauce
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the potatoes, halve them, and place them in water to prevent them from browning. Rinse the pork neck steaks and pat dry. Trim the broccoli. Fill two steamers 2.5–3 cm high with water and bring to a boil. Place the broccoli in one steamer and the potatoes in the other. Steam the potatoes for 20–30 minutes and the broccoli for 10–15 minutes. In the meantime, pound the steaks, season with salt and pepper, and bread them. To do this, coat the steaks first in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat a pan of fat and fry the steaks until golden brown on both sides. Meanwhile, heat the hollandaise sauce. Serve the steaks with the broccoli, potatoes, and hollandaise sauce.
