Pasta salad à la Doris with sweet chili sauce

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g spiral noodles
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 handful of peas, frozen
  • 1 bottle of salad mayonnaise
  • 100 g sweet chili sauce
  • 100 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Boil the pasta in salted water, then rinse with cold water and let cool. Chop the vegetables and place them in a large bowl. Add the frozen peas and pasta. Mix the mayonnaise with the remaining ingredients, pour over the pasta, and mix everything together. The salad can (but doesn’t have to) stand and chill for a while, about 1-2 hours. Before serving, stir in a little more milk and/or sweet chili sauce. Taste first to see if it’s not hot enough.
