Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 portions of salmon fillet(s)
- 60 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 80 ml soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger, freshly grated or finely chopped
- 60 ml honey
- 200 ml cream
- 300 g tagliatelle or pasta of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 35 minutes
First, mix the ginger with the lemon juice, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl. Next, add the fresh or frozen salmon to the marinade, which is ideal for 15-24 hours in the refrigerator. If you don’t have the time, you can simply steam the salmon in the marinade. Add the noodles to a boil in salted water, cook until al dente, discard the pasta water, and set the noodles aside. Meanwhile, cook the salmon in a pan until cooked to your desired doneness, then wrap it in aluminum foil to rest. Add the cream to the same pan as the salmon, season with the marinade, and bring to a boil. Then toss the noodles in the cream sauce. Finally, serve the salmon fillet, without the aluminum foil, on a plate with the noodles.
