Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500g penne
- 300 g Lyoner or meat sausage
- 1 small can of corn, drained
- 1 small can of peas, drained
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 small jar gherkins, drained
- 150 ml mayonnaise, salad cream or remoulade
- 2 packs of spice mix (Salatfix dill herbs)
- 1 tbsp, heaped dill, dried, or other herbs to taste
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta al dente. Meanwhile, chop all the other ingredients and place them in a large bowl. Drain the pasta and, while still hot, toss it with the ingredients in the bowl. Add the seasonings and salad dressing, then add the mayonnaise and mix everything well. Note: No additional liquid such as oil, vinegar, or anything else is needed. The mayonnaise or salad dressing is perfectly sufficient. Tips: If you want a vegetarian version for your barbecue, you can use feta cheese instead of the Lyoner. But only add it once the pasta has cooled down a bit. Lyoner is available pre-cut into strips, which can save you some work.
