Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 gherkins
  • 8 tbsp cucumber juice
  • 6 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 250 g roast beef, cut into thin slices
  • 4 slices of brown bread
  • 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 small tomatoes

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quick and delicious

Peel the onions, slice them into rings, and sauté them in oil until translucent. Add the cucumber juices, bring to a boil, and remove from the heat. Slice the cucumbers and add them to the sauce along with the parsley. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Add the meat, toss briefly, and marinate. Spread the bread with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard and toast. Place the marinated meat on top with the onions and cucumbers. Cut the tomatoes into 6 segments each and garnish the plates with them.
