Hidden cherries in pancakes

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 jar cherry(s)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • some oil
  • 500 g quark
  • ½ can condensed milk, sweetened, e.g. Milchmädchen
  • n. E. Beverage powder, e.g. Kaba

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Drain the cherries. Boil the cherry juice with the sugar and cornstarch, add the cherries, and then let cool. Combine the batter ingredients and cook into pancakes. A 28 cm pan will yield 6 pancakes. Roll the cherry mixture into each pancake and place it in a deep bowl or casserole dish. Mix the quark and Milchmädchen (milk milk) and spread the cream over the pancakes. If you like it sweet, you can stir in the whole can of Milchmädchen (milk milk). Finally, sprinkle the cocoa powder over the pancakes using a sieve.
