Chocolate banana muffins with a liquid center

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 400 g flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 240 g cane sugar
  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 10 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100 g chocolate shavings
  • 4 eggs
  • 20 tsp Nutella
  • possibly grease for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork. Then drizzle with the lemon juice. Beat the eggs with the brown sugar until frothy. Add the flour, butter, baking powder, salt, milk, and cocoa powder and mix until smooth. Stir in the chocolate shavings. Now fill about 1 tablespoon of batter into a muffin tin, place 1 teaspoon of the banana mash and 1 teaspoon of Nutella on top. Then add another 1 tablespoon of batter on top. Fill the other tins in the same way. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C with fan or 200°C with top/bottom heat for about 20-25 minutes. Let cool before serving. Makes about 20 muffins.
