Broccoli Salad

The perfect broccoli salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Broccolini
  • 100 g Heinz – French Fries Sauce
  • 120 g Salmon ham
  • 170 g Spring onions
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Cut the broccoli into very small florets (1-2cm) if you want, you can leave them a little bigger but not too big. You can also use most of the parts of the stalk, just peel it, cut away what is woody and just cut it into small pieces.
  2. Cook the broccoli in boiling salted water for 3-5 minutes, depending on its size, drain (only briefly so that it stays crispy!), Rinse with cold water and let it cool down a little. (you can also make the salad from raw broccoli)
  3. Cut the ham into small cubes and the spring onion into thin rings. Mix the french fries sauce (here you can of course also use normal mayonnaise, but I prefer the french fries sauce because it’s not as powerful and just as tasty) with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix the lukewarm broccoli with the remaining ingredients. Cover and leave to stand in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight.
