Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 can of tuna
- 2 large carrots
- 3 large potatoes
- 1 jar mayonnaise
- Salt

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Layered salad with tuna
Boil the potatoes, carrots, and eggs as needed, then peel and finely grate them. (For eggs, grate the yolks and whites separately.) Chop the onion into small cubes. For a great presentation, use a glass bowl. Arrange the salad in layers. The bottom layer consists of tuna, followed by finely chopped onion and mayonnaise. Next come the potatoes and more mayonnaise. Next come the carrots and a final layer of mayonnaise. Finally, add the grated egg whites, and the egg yolk as the top layer.
