Gnocchi salad with tuna and mozzarella

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 package of gnocchi approx. 500 g
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 1 can tuna in its own juice or in water
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 50 g olives, black, without stones
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar, white
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • Garlic salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

as a side dish or main course

Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the package instructions. Then, while the gnocchi are still warm, toss them with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Cut the tomatoes into chunks, drain the tuna, and tear it apart. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes, quarter the olives, and roughly chop the basil leaves. Now add all the ingredients and the remaining olive oil to the gnocchi and mix gently. Season to taste with 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, freshly ground black pepper, and garlic salt.
