Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g minced beef
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 onions
  • 80 g cream cheese
  • 70 g beef broth
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 25 minutes

Recipe for a 1.5 l slow cooker, 120 watts

Heat the beef broth in the microwave, pour it into the slow cooker’s ceramic pot, and set the heat to high. Slice a peeled onion and place it on the bottom of the pot. Place the ground beef, egg, mustard, flour, cream cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the second peeled and diced onion, mix thoroughly, and season to taste. Shape the meatloaf into an oval patty and place it on top of the onion slices in the pot. Cover and let the meatloaf simmer for 3 hours. After this time, place the lid across the pot to allow the steam to escape. Reduce the heat to low and cook the meatloaf in the pot for another hour. Remove the meatloaf from the pot, slice it onto a plate, and serve with your choice of sides.
