Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g meat sausage or other sausage (bratwurst, wiener, etc.)
  • 300 g potatoes, finely diced (approx. 1 cm)
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely diced
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into fine strips
  • 1 class can/n tomatoes, chopped, approx. 250 g
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika paste
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp spice mix (kofte spice) or spice of your choice
  • possibly salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar, to round off
  • possibly water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Sauté the onions until translucent, then add the garlic and sauté briefly. Now add the tomato paste and sauté briefly. Now add the diced potatoes, sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, and bell pepper paste. Then add the stock and kofte seasoning (or whatever you like). Simmer over medium heat until the potatoes are cooked and the peppers are soft. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve. Tip: The consistency should not be thin like a soup, but also not like a cream soup. Rather, something in between, i.e. creamy. If the soup is too thick, add a little more water.
