Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 Maultaschen
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • 150 g breakfast bacon
  • 1 pinch of spice(s) to taste
  • 80 g herb cream cheese
  • 550 g puff pastry, ready to bake, rolled on baking paper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into thin slices. Finely chop the onion and bacon. Place everything in a bowl and mix well. Add the eggs and about three-quarters of the cheese to the bowl and mix everything well. Season the mixture to taste. Bake the filling and let it cool. Roll out the puff pastry and spread lightly with herb cream cheese. Place the filling on the puff pastry. Roll up the puff pastry and cut into slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes.
