perfect mix for a perfect enjoyment!
Preheat the oven to 160°C. For the dough, mix the flour with the baking powder and then add the remaining ingredients. You can vary the spices according to taste. If the dough is still too sticky to roll out, simply add a little more flour. When the dough has the right consistency, roll it out into a square, ideally already on the baking sheet. Now prepare the filling by kneading and rolling out the marzipan. Place the speculatius biscuits in a freezer bag, place a kitchen towel over them, and then break them up with force by hitting them with your hand. Place the biscuit crumbs in a small bowl, add the Amaretto, and stir to coat the biscuits. Then place the rolled-out marzipan in the center of the dough, sprinkle the biscuit crumbs on top, and spread the Nutella on top. Once everything is evenly distributed, the Stollen can be rolled up. Bake for 40-50 minutes until lightly browned. You can also brush the Stollen with melted butter while it’s still warm after baking and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
