Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta (Fleckerl)
- 6 tbsp lard or oil
- 60 g sugar
- 170 g onion(s), white
- 700 g white cabbage
- some vegetable broth
- salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
simple delicious dish
Boil the noodles in plenty of salted water and drain. Heat the oil or lard and stir in the sugar until darkly caramelized. Add the chopped onions and roast. Cut the cabbage into approximately 1 cm squares, roast them, and add a little broth. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 30 minutes until crisp, keeping dry. Heat the noodles, season with salt and pepper, and mix with the cabbage.
