Applecrumble with Tonka Bean Ice Cream
The perfect applecrumble with tonka bean ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Tonka bean ice cream rolls:
- 240 ml Cream
- 150 g Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Pr Grated tonka beans
Apple Crumble:
- 5 Pc. Apples Rubinette
- 100 g Cane sugar
- 4 cl Ginger liqueur
- 2 tbsp Potato starch
- 200 g Wheat flour
- 180 g Cold butter
- Cinnamon
Tonka bean ice cream rolls:
- Place an ice cream roll plate in the freezer for 24 hours. Just before serving, mix all the ingredients together and place on the plate. Let it set and roll into rolls, serve. Alternatively, add the mixture to the ice cream maker.
Apple Crumble:
- Quarter and core the apples, cut into cubes. Mix with 50g of the sugar, liqueur, cinnamon and potato starch.
- Mix the wheat flour with the remaining sugar and the cold butter in a bowl and grate to flakes.
- Divide the apple mixture into 5 molds, top with flakes and bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius until the surface is golden brown. Serve with ice.
