Baked cheese cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp mustard, hot
  • 50 g cheese (Gruyere or Emmental), grated
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • Bread(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Grate the cheese very finely. Combine the mayonnaise, tomato paste, mustard, and cheese in a bowl. Peel the garlic, press it into the press, squeeze it over the cheese, and stir in. Blend the mixture until creamy and season with cayenne pepper. Slice the bread (baguette or mixed bread; I prefer mixed bread, it tastes a bit stronger) and spread it with the cream. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the center of the oven at 200°C for about 5 to 10 minutes. The bread is ready when the surface is shiny and has a rose-gold glow. The cheese cream can be prepared a day in advance.
