Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 1 small bottle(s) of butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 75 ml egg liqueur
  • Chocolate glaze, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Grease a muffin tin or line it with 10 paper baking cups. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cream the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the butter vanilla flavoring and eggs and continue beating for 1-2 minutes. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the muffin mixture in portions. Add the egg liqueur and chocolate sprinkles. Divide the batter among the cups. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack. If desired, top with chocolate icing.
